I got bit once, but she got my fingernail. I have some of those orange aquarium gloves and my clowns don't like them. Just a thought.

My tomato/cinnoman clown does that. Its like hes protecting his territory. He'll come at me repeadedly and everyonce in a while he'll get a good nip at me that will hurt.

my friends nemo bites but thats just because he is fat, all he does is look at himself in the glass uptop and wait for food.

I have about an 8-9 inch grouper...occassionally he'll charge my arm like he is shot out of a cannon. My reaction always is to yank my arm out of the tank. happened the other night and I got a nice bath with a small sip of saltwater to boot...yuck!!!!

I feed all my fish by hand.. every now and then I feel them nibble on one of my fingers.. though it is never because im in their territory... they know that I have food and they just want it (and it never hurts!). Though one time I had my hands way down in the bottom of the tank to move a coral or something and I suddenly felt a sting to the middle of my arm... I looked down through the tank and noticed my yellow tang plucking the hairs from my arms.... that time it did hurt.
NIN - Will you bite the hand that feeds you?

LOL--I got a bath when I picked up a new clump of mushrooms off of the bottom. My friend gave them to me on an old mexican turbo snail shell. Air was trapped under the shell and when I moved it, It bubbled out and startled me! There was a pretty good SW puddle on the floor. I had to laugh at myself!!

Hey Who dey, Do you hear Cello music when you feed??

The only problem I have is that my clowns are so nosey when I'm doing maintenance, that they actually get in my way!! I'm constantly having to shoo them...that's okay with me though, to me that's a sign that they're comfy.
Who Dey, I was wondering about those seaweed sheets. Next weekend I'm going to be adding a 6-line wrasse and a coral beauty. These will be my last fish. I was wondering if either of those, and my clowns for that matter, would be happy with my putting seaweed sheets in for them?

I almost squished one of our clowns moving the mag float from one side to the other!!
Very curious fishes. . .

my coral beauty shares the sheets with my tang, but nemo and nemis don't really touch it. they swim around it cause of curiosity. so yes get the sheets for your angel and also some frozen mega marine angel at your LFS! it's pumped up with immune building vitamins

Know its probably not funny to those of us who are scared by nemos but that is hilarious. I have only had them nip me when i feed. They never charge or bit me when i stick my hand in the tank.
I think its because i do the shaking my finger to show them who is boss.... :) hehe, i'll definitly keep an eye out for them in the future though.....lol. sorry this is really funny.

Yeah, they're in the Damsel family but they definitely aren't triggers.haha.
I just have Mated Pair of Clarkis right now in my 29 and they LOVE Omega One flake food. No need for me to stick my fingers in the tank...lol.

My tomato clown is just now getting to where she is territorial. I added a BTA and she host in it. Every time my hand goes in the tank she bites the hell out of my arm or fingers which ever one os closer to her.
Beth, that is funny that you said to shake your finger at them because that was my first reaction...lol. I guess in response to my kids, I am always shaking my finger at my 10 yr old...lmao
