It's a star polyp and the light is an orbit 67/10K Dual Daylight
420/460 nm Dual Blue Actinic. It's a 55 gallon.

The tank is 9 months old and yes, guilty as charged. He's been in there from the very beginning before I knew any better so no reprimand needed

Shew...felt a major whipping coming on. Although I wouldn't buy another tang knowing that they need more room, I do love him. Besides my missing Mandarin Dragonet Goby he's my favorite fish. I also have a green brittle star that is huge

very nice. more than likely the mandrin died because your tank is still young and there isn't enough pods to live off of. that brittle star and cleanup crew will dispose of the body so you wont find it.
I love the clowns whare did you get them?

i like those black and white clowns too. i was planning on putting 2 in my tank when its fish ready.

I got the clowns at Sandy's Petshop in Louisville. I lost my Goby an my bicolored pseudochromis within weeks of each other. I found the Chromis under the stand...commited suicide
