neon gobies and BIG fish!!!

I know neon gobies are somewhat of a cleaner fish,Ihave seen this for myself, but will they or will they not be eaten by large fish such as lions,triggers and groupers? or will they treat them as true cleaner fish and let them graze on them? I want to try this this but dont want to loose the gobies!$$$$$

they'll make for a nice snack. I guess its possible that the other fish will recognize it as a cleaner if they even give it the chance.

having said that, has anyone used neon gobies in a QT tank? :happyfish

I don't know, my neon goby is not bothered by anyone in my tank. I have a batfish that eats anything that will fit in it's mouth, a lionfish, and a squirrelfish that is a rabid eater as well. The only one I would be a little worried about is the grouper (depending on the species).
