I recently purchased 3 neno gobies here on SWF.com and I loved them, but then a couple days ago they all dissapeared?
I have in the tank with them 2 clowns a Koran angel, Scooter blenny, 4 sm damsels. I also have about 180lbs of LR and lots of snails and little hermits and one anemone crab and some coral and anemonies.... could something have eaten them?:sleepy:
This would be sad, but they never looked unhealthy! They were eating and active all the time! (well when I fed them only once a day MAX)Does anyone know if they have habits of hiding for a while... I just fed the other fish and they didn't come out...
water quality is prestine, temperature is 78.8 and everyone else is happy! Any ideas what might have happened?
Please help!:happyfish :notsure:

Have you checked to make sure that they're not hiding very well? Neon Gobies do that quite often. It's quite possible that your Damsels may have murdered them and your clean up crew did its job. It's also possible that your anenomes could have eaten them or possibly finished the job after the Damsels did their damage. I'd say check to make sure that they are positively gone, they are pretty small fish.

have a new worm like creature in my tank(newly set up) about 3 weeks, but I bought it as an established tank. It is about 4-5 inches long spiney looking the top looks kind of like a feather duster. good or bad? is it a bristle worm?

I know the gobies are small enough to get into the overflow... checked, but who know where they would be now... I have a 3 tank system..sump/fuge/display... if they're in the sump I"ll never get em out! very sad... but all three down there? I don't think it's likely...... y are we talking about worms here?

my little neon goby went into the overflow, into the sump, somehow managed to swim through three chambers of bioballs, then ended up in the return sump.
after seeing that, i say everything's possible!
