Neon Green Plate Corl Please help

I have a neon green plate coral, He has been doing great in the sand bed and is super green. This morning when I turned on the lights, My Hippo tang was dead "He was in the final stages of ick" and he died right on top of the plate coral. I took him off right away, but now the coral is all White in the middle? The surronding edges are stil nice and green but the center is all white? Did the dead hippo start killing the coral by falling on it? Is there anything I can do. ANy help would be appreciated.

there is nothing u can do but wait a few days to see. most corals r pretty tough. it might be going thr some stress. i dont think a dead fish falling on top of it will kill him.
