Neon Green what?

Today on a rock of mine that has a common ricordea, I noticed a super bright neon green thing growing near it. It is about the size of an eraser and has knobs similar to the ric but is like super bright neon green so I am curious about some ideas of what this thing growing from nothing could be especially since it seems almost radioactive green.
Sorry no pic of it yet, my camera is a junker

Look like this?

If so Neomeris annulata
a calcareous algae much like coralline algae is. Not a problem usually, actually very nice. But gotta keep an eye on it to ensure it does not over run the tank.

Actually no, its got a clearish/white base but all the knobs are together on the thing not separate. It kinda looks like this, only its the knobs with no mouth and the base is white.
I say its more like this because all the knobs are together coming off of one "Foot" instead of having individual stalks and everything has a transparency to it.
Though now that I think about it, it could be that only a baby one cause the length of the knobs is almost nothing atm
