I love the way these look in my tank! Since I ended up losing my torch due to the way I handled it (way too much stress) and unwisely buying a long tentical plate which really had no shot of surviving, I had to get something to fill the void.

Yep, got them at the LFS. There is actaully a really good one around here in norther NJ. Just had a huge midnight sale a couple weeks ago. They were a little pricey, but I think it was well worth it!

Paid $120 for them. I'm not sure how a colony that size of zoos regularly goes for, but I loved the color. There is a small batch of about a half dozen orange heads on the rock. I'm hoping that a lot more of them spread!!!

If I do I'll be sure to post it here. Still too new to the hobby to even consider fraggin anything! Just joined a local reef club, so hopefully some other members will show me how when I'm ready. I always do better when I see something done instead of just reading about it.
Question: How quickly do zoos grow/multiply?

That's what I was hoping to hear! I'd love to have these all over my tank. Everyone has asked me to keep them in mind when it comes time for fragging. I have noticed a couple new heads that have seemed to appear the last couple days. I thought I was just my imagination though.

I'm still new to the hobby, so I'm not sure how much zoos go for around here. I'll have to check it out next time I'm at the store. The price on these were defintely increased though cause of the coloration. I probably would have even paid a little more for them :)

Teah your zoos are sweet!!! I'm gonna setup a 10g. zootopia tank and hopefully I can find some as nice as yours, or maybe we can do a little frag swapping in the future!!!:D

A zoo tank sounds like a great idea! Make sure you keep us posted on your progress. Once I'm ready for fragging I'll have to let you know!

I'm thinking about an eclipse 12 or 6 setup and I'll upgrade the lights to t-5s or pc's later on. I got my 46g. bow front up and running about 2 months ago and now I got a 15g. fuge and just built my canopy and I put 2x175 watt metal halides and still need some vho or pc supplement lights. My lfs is getting a huge shipment in this monday and they supose to get lots of zoos and lps so I got my money saved and i'm hoping to pick up a lot of stuff. I got some other coral goin in from my old 20g. reef. Well keep in touch and i'll let you know if I get any good stuff!!! Also every time i've come on this sight since you posted the pics of those zoos I have tooken a peek.:D
