Neptune Aquacontroller Apex

Does anyone know a place where I can get a detailed, user friendly guide on how to use this controller?
I have spent the last few days trying to program it and when I think I have figured out how to do something, I will do the same thing the next day and it does not work.
The manual and the information on the support page of the website are drastically incomplete.
