go to seahorse.org and read every article and every artickle you can find on google. your gonnaneed to be able to feed them 3+ times a day and have plenty of frozen mysis and some other healthy fooods. your gonna need to do water changes often.
don't get a seahorse until you can answert hat question on your own.

Research, research, research. They are alot of work and require alot of dedication but are worth the trouble to me. When you enjoy them so much, it hardly seems like work.

Aside from the extra added dedication, and yes...they need to be cared for 7 days a week...bigger horses 2 x/day, 365 days a year...can't forget them (not that you want to forget your other tanks)...seahorses are quite a bit different from keeping a reef or fowlr tank.
First question, what kind of tank(s) are you keeping at present? What is the size of the tank? What has your experience and success rate with those tanks been as far as water quality, upkeep, equipment maintenance, general health of the tank inhabitants?
Where are you at with your seahorse research? What have you found out that's different from reef keeping or fowlr keeping? Seahorses are best kept in species only tanks. There's just so much information...
It is definitely not impossible to keep seahorses, but they do take a certain amount of dedication...they are SO worth it!!
Research, read then research some more...after that ask questions. Good luck!!
