new 12 gallon cube

I just baught a 12 gallon nano cube with stand for 100 at a local LFS (used obviously) everything seems to work great but one hinge on the hood is busted... does anyone know if i can replace just the hinge or should I replace the whole canopy with somthing stronger than the 2x24PCs.
any other suggestions/modifications would be awesome since I have never owned a cube before

Sounds like personal preference to me. Hinge should be easy to replace... but kinda sounds like you want a new canopy to me

Get a 70 watt sunpod or viper halide...
Or u could get something for the stock hood at nano tuners which is expensive

hahaha well i mean sure who wouldn't love MH's in all there tanks! what other mods? I see their is like a surface skimmer attachment I can get.... any other suggestions?
