It depends on what you like. I have a 12 gal. and I like to watch the coral move and flow around with the current. I have the yellow polyps, 2 kinds of star polyps, a frog spawn, a toadstool (that's almost getting too big) some zoos, mushrooms, candy cane coral and well, here I'll just post a picture:

I also have a clown fish. I've tried a couple different fish, but they hide. I like to watch them swim around. The clowns seem to have more personality.

I had the stock lighting for a year, but when I did my yearly maintence I got 32 watt. instead of the 27. watt.
My coraline grew quicker than I was expecting. My tank was a year old in Dec. It probably started covering the back wall after about 5-6 months. Now I have to scrape it off the glass. I use Nano A+B.

yea, I'd have a big purple blob on my counter and you wouldn't be able to see my fish or my coral!!
I hate anything growing on my glass that interfers with me looking at my coral.

Hey go for a sixline wrasse, those fish are soooo curious and swim around exploring everywhere allll daaaaay.. Plus, they eat bristleworms if you ever get any.. I dropped in a sixline a few days ago, and now i have a really hard time spotting the few bristleworms before

Don't listen to that last one about the hippo tang, all tangs need lots of space to swim, and anomnmes need good ligthing so you would have to upgrade your lights.
