Upgraded my 55g to a 135g... I hand made the stand and canopy... 135lbs LS and 60-80Lbs LR (For now) As soon as i get some better lighting i will start adding some corals... There is alot of room to grow!

As of right now i have...
6" Blue hippo tang (4years old)
6" Sailfin Tang (Almost 4 years old)
2- 2.5" True Percula Clowns (4 years old)
3"-4" Dwarf Fuzzy (3 months old)
2" Yellow tail damsel (4 years old)
2 sea urchins
Some various snails and crabs...

No not at all... Both of them have HLLE tho.. :(
Thats what happens when you have 2 tangs in a 55g for 4 years...
I kept thinking it was diet or maybe stray voltage causing the HLLE but i think it was the amount of room they had to swim in the 55g

Can you post some pics of how the canopy opens and how the lights are attached? I am still trying to get some ideas for my 125.

yup... and i need a HOB overflow so i can have a sump and get all those ugly tubes out of my tank... And get my skimmer off of the back... And i need some better lights... I know all this but my G/F is still trying to figure out what she wants to do with my old 55g before i can continue...
BTW i know this isn't the best place to ask but what do you guys think the best/quietest type of HOB overflow is? I know i should have had the tank drilled but for some reason i skipped that without thinking twice...
Thanks in advance... and the pictures don't do it any justice, without the bright flash from the camera the stand and canopy look like black glass... 4 days of sanding/painting to get the wood grain out of birch because i didnt want to use MDF...

4 years and alot of ups and downs... They are in bad shape but are much happier now... The blue hippo has almost no color on his face from HLLE and the sailfin has no more "sailfins" and has slight color loss from HLLE... hopefully it will finially go away and i can get them to be beautiful again.. :cheer:

They get seaweed everday and a block of formula 2 everynow and then.. That was the first thing i thought , then i figured it was stray voltage so i got a ground probe... After that i figured it had to be the amount of room they had... Now they look like ants in their new home... :happyfish
