I am starting a 180gallon sps tank.....i am ordering 250 pounds of baserock and 250 pounds of sand.....do you think this should be good...?
also i am setting up a 55 gallon sump (well it has dual 175w so it is a frag tank too).................has anyone here drilled throught the floor so it can go into the basement this was my plan....any suggestions
i was buying a pendant that is 6 feet (tank is 72X24X24) and includes 2 165 VHO actinic and 3 250 DE HQI 14k..i think this is good right?
also i am getting a euro reef skimmer rated for a 110 and a tunze rated for a 210 and a 4 foot counter current (DIY) and a small Sea clone......(this is a question for people that aren't plant hippies cough cough***beasly*bob***cough) i know you need some organic material this wont totally get rid of all of it will it?
Thanks Brad

euro-reefs aren't as efficient as i want...different skimmer styles (venturi, tunze, counter current) all give you differen't compounds that they extract so you get the max efficiency and the most diverse amount of pollutants taken care of
