Hey Everyone,
I am starting a 20 Gallon Long FOWLR. I will have 15 Pounds of live rock, Marineland Penguin 350 HOB, 150 Watt Heated, and a Marineland LED Lighting system
I know I will not be able to have too many fish due to overstocking a tank of this size, but I would like to have plenty of life and color. I would like to do a Reef Tank to add to the life and color but I don't think the lighting system I have is sufficient.
I made a list of fish I would like to have and I have narrowed it down to this.
2 Clowns
1 Azure Damsels or 1 Royal Gamma Basslet
1 Mandarin
1 Orange Spotted Goby
I would like to have inverts also if possible, maybe one or two of one of the folowing:
Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
Pom Pom Crab
Astraea Turbo Snail
Banded Trochus Snail
Electric Orange Hermit Crab
Electric Blue Hermit Crab
Dawf Zebra Hermit Crab
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks...

Mandarins are extremley hard to care for and need constant attention. what I would recommend is the goby and the clowns they're probably the best choice. Plus three fish is the MAX for a 20 gal.
I don't know about the pom pom crab just because we'll I just don't know.
You should get a tiger pistol shrimp with the goby:

Hello and welcome to the site...Don't get damsels unless you want an aggressive tank. They are small beautiful little fish, but mean as can be, they kill all the other fish more timid than themselves, and bite you drawing blood when they mature.
I like the dwarf angelfish, the lemonpeel is my favorite...the colors just blast you. It is a little gamble if it will be reef safe or not, mine always was, but others have had nippers. (only 1 per tank) I like the Royal Gramma or an orchid dottyback..again you must choose because they will fight, and only 1 per tank.
There are many low light corals, and a great beginner would be the mushroom corals and the Red chilli coral.
