New 20

Hmm picked up a new 20 Gallon tall .... what should I do with it?? Don't want another reef tank ....
what would you do with it??

I have a 20L cycling right now that will prolly be a fish only invert only tank. Plan on having my 2 firefish and 2 percs. Also want to have about 4 shrimp. The bioload will be high but without coral I think it will be fine. And to substitute for coral I am planning on having a lot of macro growing in the tank.

Species tank for something or other . . . seahorses are really neat when they are cared for properly. So are mantis shrimp. (I am sure you knew that though)
Another idea depending on how much you want to spend is an anemone tank. I have seen some tanks that are devoted strictly to the condi and let me tell you . . . they were impressive!
I think that a species tank is the way to go, but you gotta come up with a cool theme.

These are actually really good ideas!!! An invert only tank would be pretty cool....but seahorses would kick!!! Since it's a 20T, i'd do seahorses, but make sure you really wanna and you are up to par on keeping them healthy and alive!!! Let us know what you decide!!!

I have been thinking of doing hte angler style fish .... but we are also talking about moving so I am thinking I might just hold off for a while. I like the idea of an angler or seahorses .... need to think about it and where ti would be located. Would want the angler fish located somewhere calm so we could see it ...

Nah I have too many little fingers that could get stung - starting with my 8 and two thumbs!! Would hate to get stung - horribly allergic to wasps/bees/ etc. Could not see missing work due to a fish sting!!
