well I took a break from swf for some time but i have the bug again so I'm setting up a new tank this will be my new mixed reef with the possibility of sneaking some rare fishes in the mix. I'm excited cause I have had big tanks but this is a monster to what I use to have. I will post some pics but first will tell you mt set up.
I'm going to be using... ( things i have )
dual 400w mh lighting 14k
dual t-5 actinic 96w
dual t-5 10k 96w
50 gallon wet/dry
25 gallon refugium
coral life uv sterilizer
aquarium life support skimmer with mag drive pump
dual 150 phosban reactors w/ coal and phosphate media
dual little giant external pumps 1325gph
four seico power heads m1100
300lbs of live sand 200 lbs live 100lbs dry
things i need to get.....
350 lbs of live rock (ordered from a lfs owner in Florida be here jan16th)
1/4 hp chiller
refugium light
now for the pics so far......
The stand I far from done we are going to wrap the stand in aromatic cedar and trim out the bottom and top also i will have a custom floating lid for the lighting. the tank had a few scratches but i have since the had the scratches removed with help from a local shop.

so guys what you think so far???? i will post more pics of the sump housing and equipment soon.

Heres a few pics of some water going in i have 200lbs of sand going in and 100 more to get thats all they had at the lfs. i have 250 lbs of live rock on the way also we only filled the tank up half way with saltwater and sand till we get our rock here i have power heads on for circulation for now. Been waiting for md to send some things i ordered like 10 days ago they are slow or could be the season. any how more to come soon we'l take a few of the sump area soon and hopeing to finish the stand this week to alot to do.
