New 29 gal CL biocube

Hello all i'm new to this so bare with me. I currently (2 days ago) bought new aquarium. I'm looking for ideas and help on what to do. How long does cycling take? I have in it 30lbs live sand and 20lbs of fiji live rock and 10lbs of dry rock. what are suggestions to get this tank going ? Any feed back is greatly appreciated. I tried this many, many years ago and had no patience nor success. I'm wanting it to be a reef tank.

It sounds like you are off to a good start. I'm not talking about the equipment or live rock, but that you are asking questions, and are willing to be patient this time. Your next purchase should be a good book, either "The Conscientious Aquariast" by Fenner, or "Saltwater Aquariums for Dummies". Also, take a look at this for a short guide. Good luck, and keep asking questions!.
