I like the rock work. Those are some nice huge chunks. Did you order that by the pound or hand pick this pieces at a Lfs? That is exactly how I want my 55 to be set up.

Your rockwork is very cool! Can you come over and do mine???? Did you balance them like that or are they glued?

I like the way you organized yourself, coral ready. I set mine up natural style. Think I watched too much Jaques Coustou when I was a kid! :happyfish

Thanks, I am glad you like the rock.
I hand picked these pieces myself from LFS. I wasn't sure how to set them up at first. They are not glued together I stacked them up carefully while testing the stability of each piece after I put it in.

Its not my intention to hi-jack your thread....but I need to ask....why two responses from the same IP.....are the two of you the same person posting under different log-in names?

awesome tank and rock work, i have a 30 gallon going now, and i have my 55 waiting to be set up. I'm re-doing my living room and building a custom stand into the wall so that you can see the tank from both liv. room and din. room, keep up the good work, like to see some fish in there

NM, Were you refering to me? If so I don't understand the question.
DMJ, Could you tell me about how many pounds of rock work that is? I plan on doing the same thing form my 55. Hand picking the fully cured live rock from their LR display. They estimate each piece at 5-7 pounds each. Is that about right? They sell it at 5.99/ pound. That is like $30-$42 per rock. I plan on buying one or two each payday.
