New 55 setup

I am restarting my 55 as a fish only tank. I'd like something that can ge kept in a large group/school.
Any ideas to species and numbers?

Get like 5 chromis, they school together and are cheap, cool looking, and very hardy.

I was hoping to get something a little different. And if I get something that small, I was hoping I could get more than 5.

7,9......make sure they are in odd numbers.

Well, before I found this forum, I bought two green chromis' to cycle my tank. They survived, and are doing fine. So, I really don't know why the need for an odd number either. Hopefully somebody can tell you, and we will both learn something.
However, I can tell you I love my GCs. I was reluctant to get them, but my wife (

) insisted. I'm glad she did, cause those little buggers are all over the place, and they look great.

So any other recommendations? Maybe 3-4 Heniochous?

if you want a heniouchus in a 55g. you better get only one. if not they will over grow the tank and there is the possibility of fighting between them. i have one in a 75g. and he is doing great by his own. but they get to big to shcool them in aquarium. they need at least a 55g tank. but if your gonna school them they need 40+ g tank per each one
