I'm setting up a 75 gal. w/ a built in overflow. 15 gal. sump. 11/2in. bulkhead. It's making noise like when your bathtub drains...how do I quiet it down?

go to set up then Equipment..it ic called a stand pipe that is what i used in mine worked great...

Thanks everybody. I built mine tonight, but I'm still getting bubbles in my sump that are making noise. Any suggestions?

UPDATE:
I put a 90 on the bottom of my drain pipe and stuck a street el 90 in that. So now the drain points twords the surface of the water in the sump.
I played around with the water level in the sump and found that if you can get the level high enough to not "bulge" from water flow comming out of the drain pipe, the result is the bubbles go straight up (as apposed to blasting all over the sump) and no gurgling.
This has helped me to also keep bubbles from entering my display throught the return pump as well.
