Hi all, Our General Star that we have had for 2 + years died last weekend, we decided to go reef with the 30 gal, we bought a few new corals yesterday, and 4 Percula clownfish. I took a few pics, my camera batteries died before I was able to get any good pics of the corals, but I did get a couple of the clowns. I'm also going to through in one of my Emporator Angel, almost fully changed now....

Hi all, here is a few more photos of the new stuff in the 30 gallon.
I'm still try to get everyone happy as can be with placement. Everyone seems to be ok, with an exception of my elegance coral, we got it 3 days ago and it still has not opened yet. We had one in the 200 and it did great, until my Emporator Angel decided to make a meal out of it. I've had it down in the sandbed, mod. lighting and just enough current to make its tentcules sway. I moved it last night up on the rocks, hoping maybe a little more light might make it happy. Anyone with one that may have ideas, I'd thank you kindly for any ideas.

This is a redlip blenny I orginally bought for the 200, when he arrived, I decided he needed to go into the little tank where he wouldn't turn into a very small meal. I ordered a large, got a very small one. He's cute though, had to resize in order to see him peeking out of his hole.

Thanks Bigred, He is an awesome fish, my only grip is he eats corals notonly sponges... But I wouldn 't trade him for the world.
But that is why I started a mini reef in the 30 gal, I'm going to keep anything in there that he eats, we're thinking of going all sps and that type coral in the 200. Lisa

Hey Boomer, that fish that you said is a Red Lip Blenny, it does'nt look like one at all, ot looks like a Chalk Basselett? I have one and it looks a lot different from that.

cadbury,
I agree, it doesn't look light a redlip, we have two others in the 200, when we first got him he was so small, we thought it was maybe it's juv. look. I've been waiting for him to get bigger to see if he changes his looks. Thanks I'm going to see if I can find a photo of a chalk basselett.

Let me know what you find out, its just that he does'nt have the blenny look at all. Maybe it is a Juv thing? But your tank looks great.

Thanks Cadbury, I just did a search and could not find anything on them, I'll go through some of my books and let you know what I find out. As for the tank, I'm still trying to get everything looking pretty. Hence no full shots...Talk to you later, Lisa

Blueberry your emp. angel is the best. Mine is changing still, she has the band around the eyes and she is a light yellow. She is truely the best angel.
All your new additions look great. Can not wait for a full view.
