just got my first non fish. i got a green carpet anenome. i put him in the corner of my tank and he liked and put his "foot" deep into the sand. Is it bad if he gets too low in the dsb, and disturbs the anerobic area? What time of day should i feed him?? what is the reason for him to contract into a ball when the lights are on and expand at night? is my lights stronger than the lfs? i feed it krill. anything else i should know. he is gorgeous and eats very well. well i have to go update profile.

have not owned that particular kind of anemone..you might want to use the SEARCH feature HERE...you should get plenty of returns w/ plenty of advice...some of it conflicting of course...couple of things though in genereal w/ anemones, you should not be too concerned if it tends to shrivel up ever so often or if it expells some kind of goo from it's mouth...that is how is removes waste being they only have that one opening
