Today, i purchased a beutiful lunare wrasse (Thalassoma lunare). it is around 6" and is in my 75 with a 4" picasso and 24" snowflake. after i first acclimated him, the trigger chased him a little, but now everything looks ok. i didnt realize how much the guys burried in the sand. he has been moving in and out of the sand since the lights have been out. i was setting my sights on a coral hog, but got this little beauty instead. i havent had him for 3 hours and i love him. great fish. bo

Well sounds like you finally made your decision. Now just in case the lfs didn't tell you about your choice here is a little info for your reading pleasure;
Moon Wrasse, Lunar Wrasse, Lyretial Wrasse, green parrot Wrasse (Thalassoma lunare).
Diet; All meaty Foods. Greedy bottom feeder.
Active all day, then sleeps deeply at night. It may attack any new additions to the tank regardless of their size, needs plenty of room.
It is not unusual for a new wrasse to bury itself a lot or even fully for the first few days if it does so do not disturb it it will come around when it is ready and comfortable. Reminds me of when I gave a friend a Banana Wrasse and he took it home. Next day I saw him at work and he related how the Wrasse buried itself and fearful it was sick or dieing he took his tongs and kept trying to find it and driving the fish crazy (I forgot to tell him if it did so to leave it alone). Luckily the fish did fine and he has it for some time now and has learned to leave it alone when it goes to bed. Another thing I notice about Wrasses is they go to bed about the same time each night and it does not matter if lights are on or off when it is time you hear a whoosh, see gravel dust (I have CC) and it is gone till morning.

My reference book only listed wild size of 13 inches so I would guess 6 to 8 in tank max. Is it adult colored in which case it is probably almost full size now. If your book didn't give coloration difference let me know and I'll give it to you.
