ive been debating on getting a banna eel

nice eels but that banana eels is quite faded in coloring I dont think the supplier fed him very well.he also looks kinda thin (his head is bigger than his body it should look smaller)
not trying to tell you how to care for him but.make sure he gets a good variety of foods such as squid, silver slides,scallops,raw shrimp, raw fish ect..i would soak all in selcon(vitC,amino acids ,B12) and garlic extreme. I would feed him small amounts daily for a while until he gets back into shape. same for your zebra eel i didnt notice any flaws in his appearance but once they get adjusted and healthy the eating will slow down so feeding can be done less often.I never gorge my fish i give smaller amounts more often to ensure proper digestion time.
