hey all just added a couple of pretty cool tank mates into the ole 55. First of all I got a white sabae anenome that runs round 25.00 for the low price of 6.50 make that 6.49. because the rookie didnt no what was what in the reef tank at the lfs. he he he also got a decorative crab, a maroon clown and , well thats it. I will admit once I noticed that he didnt no anything I questioned him about all the live coral in the tank. finnally after trying to seach the tags that i new werent there he said he couldnt sell me anything else cause he didnt no what was what. I did nothing wrong if they put him in charge of what he nos nothing about it my good the way i look at it. so im a happy panama kid on an idaho sat. night. and from the bottom of my heart,( cause I no how much you do for the kids) all mothers have a very happy mothers day and a special mothers night. I just took my wife out for a nice steak dinner and gave her her flowers and jewlry after we orderd. she said i done good do do do well gotta check the ole mail later fish type persons.

A good buy is a good buy, but intentionally pretending ignorance and taking advantage of a store employee or the store is NOT a good thing. Do you keep the extra change if someone mistakenly gives you too much?

Im sorry I wont do it anymore. ty for the guilt trip but I guess I deserved it.. Anyway granny I hope you have a great mothers day I really do. Nice to no that there is still honest people among us. and beleive me 4 years ago I would not have told someone if they gave me back to much change but now 9 times if not 9.5 times out of ten ill let them no. just like a month ago i found a black hills gold earing on the floor at wally world and gave it to the girl at the register. of course the ty were there and i felt good so for the most part I am honest but tonight I guess i slipped a we bit .anyway ty fore keeping me in line granny. mabe next time will be different.

Nope, most petcos put a trace ammount of copper in the water at all times to keep parasites reasonably under controll. But working at a *****, I know there's a lot of people they hire that don't know a nudibranch from a damsel. :hilarious

Joke is on you....there are no healthy "white" sebae anemones. "White" anemones are bleached anemones. They may, if you have appropriate lighting, recover their color. But I would not buy one for $1. What lighting do you have? While some argue about other species, nearly everyone says a sebae requires metal halides, hands down.

If you look in the inverts section on this site there is such thing as a White Sebae Anenome, all he was doing is calling it by its name. Now the anenome may or may not be healthy but I'm just saying that there are.

THis is an example of an "unhealthy" white sebae in its transition to a healthy one.

I am not sure why it happens. There are also commonly dyed (sebae) anemones. Maybe the bleached white with purple tips looks "cooler" or something.

I guess I will have to say that I disagree with selling them, in that case, and maybe that is one of the reasons why there is no guarantee

But white anemone (white zoanthids, mushrooms, corals) = bleached and unhealthy.
