:scared: If it were me I'd say kill it now. I had a heck of a time scrubbing that stuff from a rock about as large as your computer screen. IN fact I finally gave up and left the rock out on the deck for a month.. BSP ~ never again.
However if you wait a few days to a week while it gets used to your system, then they should start coming out full about then.

Mine used to flow really well, I'd say some of them reached 3/4 of an inch or so long, but they seemed to do really well in my tank before I had a fit and wiped most of them out.

I don't think a Protein skimmer has to be on a 10 gallon nano tank, water changes will help with any problems.

Mine is actually a 20 G long (which i converted from a 10 earlier this week)...if you were referring to me. But no i didnt have a skimmer hooked up to it when it was a 10, and i still dont have one, although i would like to get one. They have a seaclone 100 at my LFS fro lke 100 bucks i almost bought the other day...but you can get some pretty good deals online too...

Thanks Zano. I want to buy a skimmer slash filter. ANyone have a good reccomendation for a 10g and 20g? I have 30w of lights on the 10g and 40 on the 20g. Can that grow about anything (coral, anenomes)? One last Q? SHould I buy reverse O water for changes? Some one told me that the standard filters you would use on say a drinking water pitcher would almost be equivalent?

30w of lights as far as i have heard are not enough for most things, especially not anemones. IMHO i have heard that only really Metal halide lights allow for growths and health in corals/anemones

They are pretty expensive. But there are a ton of online stores that sell them for pretty good prices, most around the same, you just have to find the ones ho have the good shipping costs. As always, when all else fails....GOOGLE IT

i doubt you could keep a bubble tip or a long tenticle anemone with 3w/g on a 10 but you could try a small condi anemone they need less light.

Just bought the coralife 2 X 65 w for my 20 g and have not stopped starring at it yet. To any one out there, lights make the tank! Every thing has perked up! Now I have to tell my wife how important that same thing is for my 10 g!
