i just finished overhauling my 24g aquapod yesterday. i took out the back panel, drilled the back glass putting 2-1/2" bulkheads. i hooked it up to a Rena Filstar XP1 canister filter. I am soooooooooooo happy w/ my mod, the water is CRYSTAL CLEAR. unfortunately there is a leak on the back glass where i took out the plastic so i just finished resealing that corner. i should have taken a pic but kinda panicked at the amount of water on my floor. it wasnt leaking last night and i didn't get home till about 5:30. so here are a few pics a before, some w/ the plastic out and various supplies.

few more. also this only cost me about $30 about 25 for the bit and $6 for the bulkheads, which are actually electrical something or others. there are used for the same purpose.

yeah i might try that when i can get a different stand i dont have room for a sump under it right now. so i'm just going to stick w/ the canister for now. one more day then i can fill it up again.
