New anemone- where in the tank do I place it? Where do you place yours??

:notsure: I just purchased my second anemone for my tank. The first one is embedded in the sand at the bottom in a protected area where it gets barely enough light The new one, a Purple Condi anemone, I really want to put somewhere people can see it better and where it will get the light it needs.
Can it sit in a cove in the live rock that is mid-tank? Would it be happier in the sand?
Also, I have some major pump and powerhead action going on in there- is there a way to put it somewhere and make it stay until it attaches?
Finally, I bought some krill to feed and got a feeding prong. Do you guys do this? I have a blenny that loves to try to steal the krill and it makes it hard. I also use invert food- is this common?
Thanks for your help!!

You can place it on the rocks somewhere, but condys like to be on the sandbed and he may just crawl down himself. IMO, place it on the sandbed, and if it begins to get blown around hold it down for a minute or two and it will get a grip.
Do you have any sort of sponge or something so that it can't get sucked in by the powerheads?
You can try feeding the blenny on the opposite side of the tank to get him distracted while you feed the anemone.
How much lighting do you have?
