Some pictures
The main tank is a 35 hex and has a 20 hex as a sump. Eventually I will be putting plants in the sump.

Looks very nice.
Take into consideration you cannot have alot of fish in there because your gallons are tall and not long (robs the fish of swimming room).
Also in the 2nd pic. I noticed some green balls on the rock. That is bubble algea. DO NOT brake these as it would cause them to really spread. But they do need to be removed.

Just a firefish and a coral beauty. They were swimming to much to get a photo of them that wasn't blury. They just won't sit still.

your the first person ive seen use a hex as a sump. i like it, its different. great tank tho

There is no bio balls in the setup. As far as using a hex for the sump I didnt really have too much of a choice if i wanted it to fit in the stand. Its an oceanic setup with a custom built top. The guy that built the canopy is awesome at it. They match fairly well.
