with a biocube... i wouldnt even waste money with a protein skimer. and from what i hear those nano protein skimmers are more maintenance then a weekly one gallon water change which would save you the 40...

Thanks. I really didn't want to buy a protein skimmer for it. So what should I stock it with???? I was thinking about making it into a huge Ricordea garden
