New Bicolor Blennie

I've Just got a new blennie yesterday ,and he doing fine. He's been eating brine shrimp ,but I've read that they need to eat alage.Is this true? :D

Not really I have one that has been in its tank since June of 98 and there is no algae in it for the bi color. It does quite well on the same foods as its tankmates. Yes it probably would like some algae, but must it have it - no. They are great fish and make sure it has a rock or barnacle to slip into for rest and sleep. They will pull up then back into it tailfirst they really are a fun fish to have.

I totally agree with you guys blennies are great fish to have... I think they all have great personalities!! Right now I only have one and my blue devil tail damsel tries to bully he around but he doesnt take any gruff from him. Dont get fooled like I did the first time I thought my blenni had ick and I about freaked out!! To my amazement they can change colors like a chamelion!! What a great fish he is
