new bulbs

If I buy some new bulbs that I don't need righaway and put them away will they still have good strength when I do need them??
They are PC bulbs.

Are you worried about the freshness of a bulb if you don't use it for 6 months?? PC bulbs last 6 - 10 months (around there can't remember) only if they're being used. There isn't an expiration date on them.

yeah im not aware of any shelf life on bulbs, the only thing that wears a bulb out it the current traveling through it, as long as it doesn't get broken (obviously) it will last 4 ever

No they don't! Cause then everybody would post to say, "I don't know" and I like the old philosophy, that if you don't know, then don't post.

But I agree with the above. As long as the bulb is not fired up, it's fine. I can go into details about the phosphors and how it effects ROYGBIV, but all that only applies if it's lit. So your good.

Thanks Tizzo, I am just going out of town with hubby and this place that sells my bulbs is like half the price that I would pay for them here so i thought i would pick up two more to keep on hand.
