New Camera????

I just purchased a new digital camera. It is a Sony DSC-T5 5.1 Mega Pixels 3.0 Zoom MPEGMovie VX camera. I thought it would be simple to use, but I forgot that the last camera I used was a Polaroid camera. Long time ago. The problem I am having with the new digital camera is that when I try to take a picture of a moving object (fish) the object appears blurred in the picture. What do I have to do prevent the object from appearing blurred? I've already read the manual, but I can't figure it out. Does anyone know what settings I have to adjust? Thanks. :happyfish

I sell these poket cameras all day. Go to the scene mode and use the macro w/flash. should solve the problem.

make the shutter work faster.. this will darken the picture and sharpen the image (gives the shutter less open time for the movement of the fish)
there should be an option for this somewhere..
the longer the shutter stays open, the more light it lets in for the pic, but also gives the fish more time to move.. the flash will help but not if u want the look that you see in the tank when u peek in...
Try a sports setting perhaps, or something along that line.

i was tryin to find an online manual and check it out for ya, but thats the best thing i could find.. LOL
If only I could find one for my camera, I would have some extreme macros of my blue zoos..

Okay, another question. How do I resize a picture to 500x500 pixels? I am using the Adobe Photoshop Starter Edition 3.0. Anyway to rezize a picture? :notsure:

im not sure about that program.. I use a simple resizer program from here
Its free, and easy to use..
You pick the size u want, and u can lower the file size by adjusting the quality tab too.

no problem.. if u resize one and it still comes up to big, be sure to click UNDO before trying another quality setting.. but you cant really go wrong with setting it at 500 and 80% quality.. thats usually just right for attatching them here on swf dot com..
