new camera!

hi, i just got a new camera and wondering if anyone has one and whats the best way to get good pics of the tank. it is a olympus stylus 710. its 7.1 mega pixel so it should take really good pics but just wanted some info on what mode to use, if there is anyway to adjust the shutter speed ect. the instruction maual really dont explain well. any help, tips, info would be nice, thanks

oh you did thats the camera i want for chirstmas its very cool ive seen it has got a big screen but i cant help you sorry.

yea its a very nice camera and a nice sized screen. but still want some info for taking the best pics.

I have a Cyber-shot F828 it is an 8.0 MP and I search the site for tips. No much luck. So I start shooting pics left and right any possible set until I got some decent pics.

yea ive taken some pics with it but the manual doesnt help much with the diff modes that it has. here is a couple of pics but just curious if there is anyway to tweek them

Grilai and alyssia thanks for the comments! The camera has macro and supermacro. I just put it in super macro mode and no flash, and thats how they came out.

I probably will trade my camera, mine only have micro and I am not able to change the lens. Now I know what to buy.
