New Clam!

I got my first crocea clam a few days ago. There's a picture below! (i'm not the best photographer).
So far he seems to be doing great! He is wide open a lot and seems to be healthy. He does seem skiddish - when I take pictures or walk by he quickly jumps back in the shell but then comes out fairly quickly. Is this normal and will he eventually be less shy?
Anyway, enjoy. will try and get better pics later!

Awesome! Try a pic with the flash off, it shows the true coloration better.

sweet yeah it will get used to it i have to stick my hand in my tank and almost touch it before it flinches
