new clams and candy cane coral...answer quick please

I just put 2 clams in my tank, i have 2 blue leg hermits, do i need to take them out ? will they bother the clams?
On my candy cane coral there is 2 starfish. They look white with brown stripes or vice versa. They are staying on the candy cane. Do i need to remove them from the tank or leave em be? They are very small so i cant get a picture or i would.

Sounds like you got some mini brittle star hitch hikers. Ophiura is the one to chime in here, I believe she is the starfish guru.

Nah, good detritivores. They are sometimes commensal with a coral but I have never heard of them on a Caulastea before.

ur blue hermits r ok. they wont harm the clams.

The hermits should not bother the clam. The only time I think they would bother a clam is if it is dying.
