New clown acting funny

I just bought a pair of clowns yesterday and one seems to be acting really funny. I lost a pair of really ones (about an 1in. long) a few weeks ago so I hope these will make it. But one is lying in the corner of my tank on the sand. He has been there ever since I woke up which was several hours ago. He just lies still not moving his fins and every few seconds it will raise and move its fins some. But he hasnt moved from the spot. My previous clowns did the same thing and they eventually died. It doesnt have any spots or anything that I can see. But the big one is swimming around and acting fine. Is it normal for the other one to lay down? Thanks:notsure:

I forgot to mention my tank has been running for about for about 2.5 months and I've had a yellow tang and 2 damsels for about a month.

Clowns are known to sleep in the sand if the lights are off. If he is lying in the sand with the lights on, I would just watch him. Did you acclimate him properly? Dripping is always a good idea (click on Acclimation if you are unsure how to do this).

yes the lights are on and I acclimated them both. I only had one tube to drip acclimate with. The one that seems to be doing fine was dripped acclimated, and I slowly poured water in the bag of the other one for over an hour. About 1/2 cup every 5-10mins.
