new clown not eating

I got a new clown to replace my GSM that was eaten by my mushroom. It is a false perc that is about 3" long, it was but in the tank on wednesday night and has yet to eat anything...i have tried flake, frozen brine and formula 1 frozen cubes and nothing.....will he just eat when he gets hungry enough? he looks fine and acts fine and has lots of interaction with anyone who looks in the tank, just wont eat

How long has it been on "hunger" strike? It just streesed out, that's all. My clowns take about 3 days before they eat any food and mine was very picky eater too. Certain food they just won't eat, spoil clown! So beside waiting, I think you need to try different food. Avoid flakes if possible, Brine/Mysis usually do the trick. Good Luck.
