Since all my fish are in quarantine (just waiting for the tank at this point) and will be for several more weeks I have been trying to add as many inverts as possible reason being no fish no host no parasites by the time they return. Added 26 snails (10 cerith, 12 nassarius, 4 margarita) to the 2 astrea already there and corals below:
zoanthus frags

palythoa frags

orange/purple ricordia with green and pink mouths (cant see well in pic)

large green mushrooms

more green mushrooms, yellow acropora

yellow acropora with colors exaggerated to show green tips (dont show in reg pics)

tan acropora fuzzy polyps

pink acropora white polyps

small evergreen star polyp frag

green brain I tried to trade but since fish that picked on it isn't in the tank I put it back in

old corals: blue shrooms, two umbrella shrooms, frogspawn, brain

random

thanks for looking!

thanks and no test detectable nitrate or phosphate levels. the sand is only about 1" deep and the nassarius and cerith snails scavenge it. its fine white play sand (kolorscape).

thanks! tank is 72Lx18Dx19H" 100 gallon with ?? gallon sump. CLSS125/cheato filtration. 2x175W halides, perhaps I'll add a few VHO/T5/PC actinics within the next week or two or not. All the live rock and old corals are transfers from my 30g +40lbs of base rock. tank has only been up a few months but 30g had been up 2yrs.
old tank after transfer

let the base rock season with some old tank cheato for a few months before set up garage style

before the little coral shopping spree

lastly poor fish after being coppered up (30g is now the quarantine tank). Treatment is now over but not scheduled to return to the main tank until mid march. Hippo tang who broke out with ich, powder brown and most recent addition Eibli dwarf who must have brought the ich home. I want to add perhaps one more fish. LPS had a nice pink square anthia but the damn thing was much bigger than all my fish! had no clue they got that big :scared:

thanks. thats why except the acro (supposedly dwarf/large angels leave most SPS alone) all I added were zoo/paly polyps, star polyps and mushrooms. I already had him in the tank with those plus the hammer/frogspawn and the only thing he picked at was the open brain (which coincidently was the only thing a valentini puffer before liked to pic on). He muched preferred to pic at the live rock. Hopefully the new stuff doesn't taste better and his taste wont change. the brain will probably have to go again once he's back in the tank but it was in the sump for month so I can now look at it for a little while.

thanks all. I got all the rock locally. the 1rst 10lbs I got had little coralline algae on it because I didn't care too much and just picked on shape. the next 20lbs (from the same store) I went in looking for good coralline coverage and every piece I took home had pretty good coralline coverage. the 1rst few months nothing then like in an instant it just started growing very quickly. HOPEFULLY the base rock will do the same because its so obviously base/new rock.
old tank the rock came from (at its peak not when I took it down)
