new coral and shrimp!

i just went to the LFS last night , and with x mas money i got a finger leather, and a blood shrimp! they also had a HUGE toadstoll leather, 20+inches tall, 16+inches wide!! but i thought it would look bad in my 55 gallon

Nice grammer, eh? LOL!! I love them blood red shrimps. Is yours shy? Mine was. And when I get better lights, I want a frag of that leather! Lookin' AWESOME!! Keep it up! Those are some really nice additions!

mines sota shy, but to get it into the tank i didnt even have to put it in, it just jumped out of the bag, LOL

I have that exact finger leather and it has some rott on 2 of the fingers. DOes any one know whether or not I should cut it off or leave it. When the PH hits it, it spews bits and peices all over the tank?

If its spewing pieces, it is dying/dead. What are your water params? What kind of lighting? What other tank inhibitants?

Parameters are good. 0 Amm, 0 ite and ate. CA 420, PH 8.2, DH 8. 150 W of PCs on 20 G. Other inhabiatants are gonaporia, zoos, clam,sun polyps, leathers, toadstool, chili coral, candy cane, open and flat brain, featherdusters, chromis, RG, sccoter blennie, shrimp, candalactus small anenome, flame scallop, star fish, xynia, frogspon,shrooms,green star polyps, trumpet coral,turbos and astrea and hermits, see PIC. LFS said to razor cut off the bad part? Hate that but might have to?

Did you have trouble with your blood shrimp snacking on your zoos? I just put some green eye zooanthids in my tank and I thought I read that blood shrimp eat them... Anybody know????????
