New Corals!!and Questions

Yesterday i bought a large rock covered in GSP(6 by 5 inch rock for $20 ,a HUGE rock covered in lettuse leathers 1.5 ft in length for $25, and 13 heads of candy cane for $32.they all are soooo cool.The guy had loads of great stuff bt wanted to keep some of it. But i do have a question.
1)the GSP for the most part are all out,but i can still see some stubbie un opened purple baces.Is this normal?

sounds normal. a lot of times when moved or brought home they don't open at all for a day or so.
