I was wrong, it is actually a Squamosa Clam. I bought it today.
I currently have it in a low flow area. I don't have any livestock that will mess with it.
My tank is a 55 gallon reef. These clams are mainly photosynthetic, but will filter feed.
My tank has been up for a year so I am not planning on adding any phyto. My other filter feeders do fine without it.
My lights are 260 watt PC which would be fine for this clam as it is a lower light clam, but my 2-175 watt MHs will be here Wednesday.
