Hello all,
So as a brief intro, I have never had reef tanks, but I have had stars and stripes puffers before, so I understand a bit about saltwater, but not a lot. I also am a pre vet med student and have a passion for aquatics and exotics and am willing to learn! Now on to my question...
So long story short I have a 75 gal tank set up as a temporary (6mo-year) fancy holder for my live rock. The live rock takes up almost the entire tank, I currently do not have a picture but can add one as soon as I get off of work today. The tank does not have a pump or filtration system currently and has no light source besides what comes in from the windows in the room, and has a solid piece of wood as a lid. The tank hold about 55-60 gallons of water currently. I have the tank set up simply to hold the rocks, but I was wondering if there is anything that would live happily in a tank like this. Maybe small starfish, crabs, or shrimp? I'm willing to add filtration if needed but I do not want to make this tank into a separate project considering it is holding the live rock for a larger 220 gal project. If all else fails I figured some Asterina starfish would work nicely. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
EDIT: Here are some pics of the tank, its a little cloudy because I just set it up yesterday evening.
