yeah sure now prob, i dont mind at all you asking that question
first off, the puffer did not puff up when i put him in. actually, when the guy at the LFS did it i got very nervous and kinda mad; he took the puffer completely out of water with a net and such ( and when he did the butterfly it got stuck in the plastic bad for a few seconds) i acclimated both in the same bucket, but put in a divider in the middle b.c i caught the raccoon nipping at the puffer. i dripped them for about 2 hours and 15 minutes and then put a steady stream of water in for about 15 minutes. i then used a small bucket to take the fish out of the large acclimation bucket and then placed them in the display tank ( that way they did not come into contact with air)
The puffer is an Fiji Orange Tailed Puffer. its one of the smaller ones and does not get much larger. they are seen in the trade frequently but if your LFS does not carry them you can request one and im sure they will be able to get one. i waited awhile to get one with that particular color scheme and all. gorgeous isnt it. oh i almost forgot... the puffer was $40... might have been a little expensive but the store put it on hold for me for awhile and as i said, i was very nit picky on which one i was going to buy.
