New fish..help

We bought a new yellow tang tonight from a pet shop and didn't know if it was ok for it to be changing white, like fading. Is this normal?

Welcome to the forum. Mine turns white when he is stresses or the lights are out and it is 'bed time'. If your water parameters are good and he is not being overly harrassed by another tank mate I think he/she will be fine.

I agree its normal for any fish to fade its color when stressed out...And welcome you will love it here alot of imfo....

Thanks for the help i woke up this morning and it was bright as can be. I have already learned alot on here. Thanks for everything.
