New Fish... Need Help!

Hello all,
It's been a while since I posted because I have kept the same fish for about 3 years. I have a Hawaiian Dragon (had for 5 years) and a very big Grouper (not sure of the type but he looks like the blue spotted ones but hes gray and black). My Violatin Lion died about 2 weeks ago (not sure of what it was... he just lost his appitite over the past couple of months and then died. i had him for about 3 years and he was over 10"). They are in a 125 gallon.
Today, I decided to add a Snapper to the tank to take the place of the Lion. He is almost the same exact size as the grouper, just a tad smaller (they are both over 10").
The grouper will not leave him alone!
I just looked in, about 20 minutes after acclimation, and the snapper looks like he has been bit several times by the grouper. He has marks and looks stressed.
Immediately, I took the grouper out and put him in the only thing I had, one of those Instant Ocean buckets. Now I have a powerhead in there too to move around the water.
The problem is, I can't return the Snapper to the LFS because they don't open till Tuesday now. What should I do?
I also just rearranged the rocks in the tank in hopes that if I introduce the grouper later he might not be as aggressive because of the new environment.
Please give me any advice.
Thanks!
John

Give the new intro a few hours to settle, kill the lights, and put the grouper back in. Keep a close eye on him with a room light on, and see what happenes. Keep us updated.

Both the Grouper and the Snapper, I'm sorry to say, are too big for that tank.
The aggression level is not going to go down, in the Grouper, because of the size of the tank...and also because it's been in there for so long.
IMO, I dont think even moving the rocks around will likely help.
Good luck, though.

I introduced the grouper back in the other night and let them both sit all night. The next morning, they were getting along fine... no problems now!
Thanks for helping to make this work!
