I got my first two aggresive fish last night. A spotted puffer and a Niger. I plan to add a porc puffer and a Maroon clown and some sort of eel later down the road(4-6 weeks). I bought some frozen mysis shrimp also. What would be the best thing to feed them. I have heard about people making their own food and freezing it? Also how do you unthaw the food. Soak it in fish water for a few minutes? Also how much to feed these guys.

i feed all of my aggressive fish silversides, shrimp, and dried krill. they love the mix. my puffer will not eat silversides. i always break my food into serving sizes with small zip lock bags. i put them in a bowl of slightly warm water. and they thaw pretty quickly. then just drop them in. except for my eel. i use a feeding stick for him. if you want a clown fish you should consider the cinnamon clown. they are pretty aggressive guys. i have one in my aggressive set up and he does great. hope that i have helped you in some way. good luck.
