The Vermiculated Angelfish ended up having a parasite. I treated with prazipro while in qt but it didnt make it. I noticed when i got him home his sides were really sunk in. I didnt really notice in the store. I went back today to claim my refund because my LFS is sweet like that with me and I picked up this guy. Eibli Angelfish. This guy is nice and fat and healthy. Ate in the store. Acclimated like a champ. He is a decent size. Really active. Really gorgeous. His tail has lots of colors in it.
How will it do with my bi color? It is bigger. Double the size.

Sucks to hear the Singapore didn't make it. New find with the Eibli though. Besides adding the two angels at the same time, adding a much larger angel to an established small angel is the best way to go IMO. The small guy really has no choice but to accept the new guy.

i bought 2 books yesterday because they had a lot of popluar aquarium fish in them.
they both say pretty much exactly what aquaknight says.
but go into detail about the bi-color angel. says that the only fish to EXTRA caution when adding after a bi-color angel are the closely related Heralds dwarf and the lemonpeel.

I will try again later on down the road. I have heard the Eibli is a little more peaceful than the bicolor. That is why I got him as well due to the size difference. I cant get over these angels. Its crazy how much I like them.
