New fish

Wife is away in the big city dealing with a family issue so i've been home alone the last few days. Wish I could say i've been going buck wild, but sadly as wild as I have gotten was visiting the local fish store today. I usually hardly go in there as their prices are absolutely absurd, but I figured I would drop in and see what they had. They charge $7 each for scarlet hermits, $3.50 each for astrea snails, and $20 each for green chromis =(. Needless to say they had a blue tang with HLLE so bad the entire 1/3 portion of his front was entirely eaten away. Terrible. They also had a brand new flame angel I put on hold and a nifty little black and gold chromis I put on hold also. I will be going back tomm to pick up the chromis so Ill post pictures then, but I am going to wait on the flame angel. I couldn't resist either one because together they were only $15. They charge out the butt for cheap fish and basically give away expensive ones lol. The flame looked really healthy; however for $10 I'm kind of leary. I may pick it up tomm also to throw into quarantine. I posted a pic of a standard black and gold chromis ( Neoglyphidodon nigroris ) I found online if you have never seen one before. I'll try to post some pics tomm of the little guy. He's quite the looker. Looks exactly like the picture. They do become a bit uglier once maturity is reached so sadly he won't remain as beautiful as he is now.

Lol he even looks kind of mean. Not a good sign. Im sure he probably already is fairly aggressive as he was in a tank with 4 domino damsels yesterday and was holding his own. After quarantine he's going to go in a 55 thats got 4 green chromis in it which are going to get moved. Its a FOWLR i've just simply kept running for two years in case I wanted to add anything on a whim. It used to be a octo tank and when the octo died I didn't purchase another. The chromis are all going into a 125 with some more; however idk how that will turn out in that once chromis mature they seem to pick each other off irregardless. From experience as juveniles chromis seem to do better in groups, but as they mature, in my opinion, they seem to become more independent and more aggressive towards one another and other fish. Maybe its just something that I have had some bad luck with idk. Originally there were 7 of them in the 55, but that's just the way it is I suppose.
