I recently put a new flame angel (sunday) into my tank and thus far he hasn't eaten anything i've been feeding the other fish. He has been nibbling at rocks like my purple tang does, but doesn't seem like he's getting anywhere near enough (the tang and snails have been keeping the rocks a little too clean)... Any one know if it is normal for flame angels to go through a period of not eating when they first get introduced? All of my other fish have been eating just about immediately. Eating the offered food that is...
One other question: I've had this blenny, a "orange jeweled blenny" (so they call it) that will eat algae off the rocks and back walls, and eats plenty, as evident by his excriment... but also won't eat anything else at all. Seems healthy and happy, been in the tank almost a month... Any idea on that? Or what another name for it could be? Haven't found anything on "orange jeweled blenny"
Thanks,
